Mark your calendars! Keuka Lake August 31 and September 1st 2024
Registration for the Derby begins on June 1, 2024
Come enjoy a fun filled friendly competition on beautiful Keuka lake. All while raising money for great cause. Derby entry includes a pulled pork, Italian sausage and chicken spedie lunch from Corning Catering. There will be awards, door prizes, and thousands of dollars worth of raffles and auction items at the Hammondsport Fireman’s field beginning at 2 pm on Sunday Sept. 1st. Must be present to win!
Remember this is a fundraiser for a good cause. Bring some extra cash for games auctions and raffles at the awards!
Cash prizes in trout, large mouth and small mouth divisions.
Special separate youth anglers division for those 15 and under.
Weigh in locations: all three corners of Keuka for access convenience! All accessible by boat!

Registration for the Derby begins on June 1, 2024
Rules
- All individuals in the boat must be pre-registered and all must be entered in the same divisions
- NYS fishing license required and all fish must be caught in Keuka Lake or tributaries.
- All NYS rules and regulations must be followed.
- Trout division includes any trout /salmon caught from Keuka
- Hours of the derby are from 5am August 31st until 1pm on Sunday September 1st.
- Anglers may only win one place per division they are entered in.
- Anglers 15 and younger can enter the special youth derby, or as an adult but not both.
- Bait fishing is allowed.
- Weigh in locations will be open from 9am till 6pm on Saturday the 31st and from 9am till 1pm on Sunday September the 1st.
- Any fish that are not in line to be weighed by 1pm on Sunday will be disqualified.
- No shenanigans. Foreign objects found in fish will result in disqualification.
- In the event of a tie, prize money from appropriate placings will be split.
- All decisions of the derby committee are final.
Registration needs to be done by 5pm Friday August 30th.
Registration is $20 for youth 15 and under includes food and they can fish for both bass and trout.
Registration for Adults is $40, includes food and entry into choice of one division.
Additional division entries are $20 each.
(All adults in the boat need to be registered in the same divisions)

Prizes/Payout
Adults: 100% payout of divisional entry fees. At least 4 places paid: 40% for 1st 30% for 2nd 20% for 3rd and 10% for 4th. Derby Committee reserves the right to add more places and change percentage depending on number of entries.
Raffle/Auction items include: (partial list) Weekend rental of a class C Motorhome, Lake Ontario fishing Charter, Lake Erie fishing Charter, kayak, crossbow, wildlife artwork, fishing gear, scouting cameras, deer processing certificates, hunting gear, cooler, fire ring, golf certificates, and much more
Youth portion: Cash Prizes for the top three heaviest bass and top three trout. Amount is dependent on number of youth entered.
Special drawings for youth participants including Lifetime Fishing License, one week at DEC summer camp 11-17 yr olds in 2025. Plus many other prizes/certificates.
