Registration for the Derby begins on June 1, 2026

Come enjoy a fun filled friendly competition on beautiful Keuka lake. All while raising money for great cause. Derby entry includes a pulled pork, beef brisket and chicken spedie lunch from Corning Catering. There will be awards, door prizes, and thousands of dollars worth of raffles and auction items at the Hammondsport Fireman’s field beginning at 2 pm on Sunday September 6th. Must be present to win!

Remember this is a fundraiser for a good cause. Bring some extra cash for games auctions and raffles at the awards!

100% Cash payout of divisional prizes for trout, largemouth and smallmouth.

Separate youth anglers division for those 15 and under. Will have cash prizes for the four biggest youth caught bass, trout and panfish (perch, rock bass, crappie or sunfish) Youth can only have one winning fish per division. Special youth only drawings at the awards. Must be present to win!

Weigh in locations: all three corners of Keuka for access convenience! All accessible by boat!

Registration for the Derby begins on
June 1, 2026

Rules

  1. All individuals in the boat must be pre-registered and all must be entered in the same divisions.
  2. NYS fishing license required and all fish must be caught in Keuka Lake or tributaries.
  3. All NYS rules and regulations must be followed.
  4. Trout division includes any trout /salmon caught from Keuka
  5. Hours of the derby are from 5am September 5th until 1pm on Sunday September 6th.
  6. Anglers may only win one place per division they are entered in.
  7. Anglers 15 and younger can enter the special youth derby, or as an adult but not both.
  8. Live bait fishing is allowed.
  9. Weigh in locations will be open from 9am till 5pm on Saturday September 5th and from 9am till 1pm on Sunday September 6th.
  10. Any fish that are not in line to be weighed by 1pm on Sunday will be disqualified.
  11. No shenanigans. Foreign objects found in fish will result in disqualification.
  12. In the event of a tie, prize money from appropriate placings will be split.
  13. All decisions of the derby committee are final.

Registration needs to be done by 5pm Friday September 4th.

Registration is $20 for youth 15 and under includes food and they can fish for bass, trout, panfish.

Registration for Adults is $40, includes food and entry into choice of one division.

Additional division entries are $20 each.

(All adults in the boat need to be registered in the same divisions)

Prizes & Payouts

Adults: 100% payout of divisional entry fees. At least 4 places paid: 40% for 1st 30% for 2nd 20% for 3rd and 10% for 4th.  Derby Committee reserves the right to add more places and change percentage depending on number of entries.
